Order SND/257/202 19th March to declare the closure of tourist accommodation.
The order has been established to close all hotels and similar accommodation, touristic accommodation and other short term accommodation, camping, caravan parks and other similar establishments, located through the whole of Spain.
If any of the aforementioned touristic establishments had guests staying in them when the State of Alarm was declared they are permitted to remain open until so long as they are given the correct infrastructure, staying in their own rooms to ensure that they comply with the forecasted measure stipulated in the Royal Decree 463/2020 14th March.
The closing process will commence as soon as the establishment has no clients to attend to, and in any case within seven days of this present order coming in to effect.
It will be the responsibility of the competent authorities for each autonomous community to communicate the resolutions, provisions and instructions on the necessary specific actions to guarantee the efficiency of this order.
